MUGHAL MINIATURES

These designs are derived from contemporary adaptations of the Mughal miniature painting traditions of Indian art, dating back to the 16th Century. Mughal painting with its very fine brushwork and attention to texture and detail has been the subject of this artist's study and practice for many years. This collection of original artwork illustrates the skill of using traditional squirrel-hair brushes and the use of arabesque and pattern.
